Hi David. I found your site by pure chance, but enjoyed reading your comments and I like your comparisons of different recordings, e.g. Company, Gypsy.
It’s great, how there are always new homepages up about cast recordings. My favorite is http://www.castalbums.org, if you don’t know it yet, have a look.

This appears to be a long story! basically I am just giving you a heads up.
I also purchased “A Little Night Music – The 2009 Revival” and put it on my I-tunes preparatory to putting it on my I-pod. For some reason, when I did this, one of the tracks was very noisy. (The CDs played perfectly on all the CD players in the house however).
I decided that since I had a free track from I-tunes, I would purchase the problem track and replace it for my IPod. While I was doing this, I noticed that for 99 cents, I could purchase an extra track not available elsewhere for this album. It is a solo version by Catherine Zeta Jones of “Send In The Clowns”.
I have since found that I-tunes seems to have a lot of these extra tracks on its albums. The Addam’s family for instance has an extra track sung by the author.
I plan to keep purchasing all my cast recordings on CDs, but I also plan to keep my eye on I-tunes. I just wish they had the extra tracks for “South Pacific” that Barnes and Noble used to offer. By the time I got around to buying the cd, they were no longer available.
